Logistics and distribution centres up and down the country require pallet racking to store an assortment of goods ready to be delivered around the world. The type of pallet racking that is used differs from warehouse to warehouse as it is built to fit their individual requirements and goods.
In terms of the operation of the warehouses, pallet racking provides an adequate solution. This is because the racking system options, including narrow aisle, conventional aisle and drive-in, are suitable for a range of warehouses and the goods that they are distributing.
Narrow and adjustable aisle pallet racking systems give complete flexibility in terms of where the pallets are stored and when they are required for distribution as both of these systems allow complete access to all pallets. In contrast, the drive-in racking system work on a last in, first out basis and this is perfect for items which are able to remain in storage for a while or are used seasonally such as Christmas decorations or frozen fish.
